Buoy 10 Salmon fishing in Astoria, Oregon is one of the most action packed fisheries in the country. Many clients ask us that they want to fish “Buoy 10” specifically. Buoy 10 is just a red can/buoy with a number 10 written on it located at the mouth of the Columbia River. In reality we have about 40 square miles in the Buoy 10 fishery. Every year starting early August and will fish all the way through September. Guides from all over the Pacific Northwest, converge to Astoria, Oregon and or Illwaco, Washington on the lower Columbia River to fish for Chinook and Coho Salmon.

Buoy 10 Fishing Guide – Your Trip

Your day will start out by meeting us at one of the boat launches in Astoria, Oregon.  We will be in contact with you a few days before your fishing trip to go over our meeting time and location.  The following items you need to bring with you on your Buoy 10 fishing trip is a valid fishing license Oregon or Washington State, rain gear, lunch/drinks, hats, and sunglasses.

At the end of your Astoria, Oregon Buoy 10 fishing trip, we will clean, fillet and put your fish in Ziploc bags. Ice can be provided for your drive home if needed.
